Vegan candy bars – junk food, hold the junk

Portland, Oregon based food company Go Max Go has just come out with a new line of entirely vegan candy bars that serve to fill the void for those of us missing the traditional variety (don’t even try to pretend like you don’t miss that occasional guilty supermarket checkout line impulse buy).  Each one is designed to be similar to a popular brand (i.e. Snickers and Milky Way) but contain no dairy, eggs, hydrogenated oils, trans fats, artificial ingredients, or cholesterol.  They even have cute names like “Buckaneer” (instead of 3 Musketeers) and “Jokerz” (instead of Snickers).

The best part is that right now the site One Frugal Foodie is doing a Go Max Go care package giveaway!  All you have to do is go to the site, leave a comment on this post and you’re entered to win!  The only stipulation is that if you do win I expect a cut of the prize for informing you of the contest. I really enjoy Milky Ways.  😉  Good luck!
